Chapter 1 · The hidden tax on your week

“You do not have a time problem. You have a leak problem.”

Before you speed anything up, see where the hours actually go. The book starts with a time-leak audit, then plugs each leak with a prompt you can use the same day.

A composite example from the book

214unread

Monday, 8:10 a.m. · First meeting at 9:30

The Monday morning inbox

Two minutes to a ledger of every action that matters

Arjun, a programme manager, is back from a week of travel. Somewhere in 214 emails are a proposal he promised a client, an expense approval with a deadline and a hiring-plan request from his manager.

He removes the names and figures, pastes the emails into an AI assistant with today's date and a careful instruction, and asks for a table of every action, who owes what and what is already overdue. He spots the late proposal first, and he checks the AI's work against the originals before he sends a single reply.

AI reads and drafts. You decide and send.

Chapter 2 · The SHARP prompt

Five ingredients that turn a vague request into a useful first draft

Distilled from the prompting guidance published by Microsoft, Google, OpenAI and Anthropic into one formula you can remember. Use all five for important tasks, two or three for quick ones.

S

Situation

What is going on, who it is for, and today's date.

H

Hat

The role you want the AI to play, such as your chief of staff.

A

Ask

One clear job to do.

R

Rules

Use only what you provide. Label guesses as ASSUMPTION.

P

Product

The exact format, length and tone you want back.

VagueSummarise my emails.

→ A generic list that may miss deadlines and invent details.
SHARPS: I am back from leave and today is Monday 12 October 2026. H: Act as my chief of staff. A: List every action I owe or am owed from the emails below. R: Use only the emails provided; mark anything you are guessing as ASSUMPTION. P: A table with action, owner, due date and status.

Chapter 3 · Safe hands

The 4-P check: move fast without leaking secrets or losing trust

The time you save is only real if you don't pay it back in rework, apologies or lost trust. Run it before you paste, and again before you send.

P1

Privacy

Should this leave my device?

Swap names, numbers and secrets for placeholders like [Client A] before you paste. Includes a 60-second privacy scrub and a traffic-light rule.

P2

Proof

Is every fact true?

AI sounds confident whether or not it's right. Check numbers, dates, quotes and citations against the source.

P3

People

Does it suit the reader?

For feedback, conflict or bad news, use AI as a sounding board and write the final words yourself.

P4

Policy

Am I allowed to do this?

Check your organisation's AI policy, client contracts and industry rules. If there's no policy, ask first.

Part II · The prompt playbooks

Nine playbooks for the situations that fill your week

Every prompt sits on a numbered card: when to use it, the copy-paste prompt, a caution to check and a pro tip. Text in [square brackets] is yours to fill in.

Frequently asked questions

About the book

Who is this book for?

Busy working professionals in any industry and any country who want to spend less time on email, meetings, reports and routine writing. It suits complete beginners as well as people who already use AI tools and want better, more reliable results.

What exactly is inside?

112 ready-made, copy-and-paste prompts organised into nine playbooks (inbox, meetings, writing, decisions, research, numbers, leading people, career and planning), the SHARP prompt formula, the 4-P safety check, a 30-day plan, a pocket prompt library, a personal prompt library template, a cheat sheet and a glossary. It's 90 pages in English.

Which AI tools do the prompts work with?

The prompts are written to work with the free or standard versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. They are plain-English instructions, so they can be adapted to other assistants too.

Do I need technical skills or a paid AI subscription?

No. The book is written for busy professionals with no technical background, and no coding is needed. Always follow your employer's rules on which tools and data you can use.

Is it safe to use AI with my work emails and documents?

The book treats this seriously. Chapter 3, the 4-P check (Privacy, Proof, People, Policy), shows you how to remove names, numbers and confidential details before you paste anything, how to check AI output before you rely on it, and when to ask about your organisation's AI policy. The rule throughout is: AI reads and drafts; you decide and send.

How quickly can I start saving time?

You can start in about 20 minutes: read the SHARP prompt (Chapter 2) and the 4-P check (Chapter 3), then try prompt #09, the Action Ledger, on a few emails with the names removed. For a steady habit, the 30-day plan takes about 15 minutes a day. The time-saving figures in the book are planning estimates, not guarantees.

Will the book still be useful as AI tools change?

Yes. Tools and features change every few months, but the core skills the book teaches (asking clearly, checking carefully and protecting people's information) carry over from one tool to the next.

Buying and payment

Is the book available in India?

Yes. Choose India as your region to see the price in Indian rupees (INR) and use the India checkout. Indian customers who are abroad can still choose India, and visitors to India can choose their home region.

Can I pay with UPI in India?

My payment went through, but I can't see the PDF. What should I do?

First, stay on or reload the download page for a few minutes; it checks again automatically. If it still doesn't appear, email support with your payment reference (from your receipt or bank/UPI app) and we'll send your download. Please don't pay a second time.

I lost my download link. Can I download the book again?

The download link expires after a short time for security, so save the PDF to your device once it's downloaded. If you lose it, email support with your payment reference.

Can I share the PDF with my colleagues or team?

Your purchase is a personal licence for your own use, including using the prompts and worksheets in your own work. Please don't share or upload the file; colleagues can buy their own copy. See the Terms and Conditions for details.
